Emulating Zelda ...
Ever wanted to play Zelda on your PC? Missed the old games and want to play them? Here's your chance!
About emulation
How it's done? I've got no idea.
Isn't it illegal? Yes, but who cares! They don't even make these games anymore!
Is it hard to do? It's pretty easy, trust me!
What you need
First of all, you need an emulator. Don't worry, it's included in the package. Next you'll need the ROM file. That's in the package too! That's all you need! Make sure you got a fast PC, lets say a P166 with at least 16 Mb Ram. It runs on slower machines too, but I can't guarantee it'll work ok ...
The files
Here are all the files you'll need. They're all in a self-extracting zip-file.
You need Nesticle for the NES games - click here to download.
Zelda 1: The legend of Zelda - NES
Original ROM File
Gannons Revenge
Enemy Zelda
Super Mario Bros Zelda
Zelda 2 - The adventure of Link - NES
Original ROM File
Zelda 3 - A Link to the past - SNES (1,10 Mb)
Emulator - More then one! You need to switch between them for an optimal game!
I included 3 Emulators in this ZIP file. You should be able to play the game without any problems that way.
Original ROM File
Zelda 4 - Link's awakening - GB
Emulator: included, but there are others.
Original ROM File
Zelda 5
Not available, the game isn't even for sale yet! Nintendo 64 Emulation will be possible on a 500 MHz PC in around 1-2 years!
